Tennessee Memphis Rock & Soul Museum license plate

The imagery I produced as the photographer for Gibson Guitar was often used by many media outlets outside of the corporation for ad campaigns, publications, websites, etc. One of the more exciting uses was discovered when I was covering the Memphis Rock ‘N’ Soul Museum fundraiser event for Gibson at the Country Music Hall of Fame. One of the ways the funds were being raised for this cause was through a  Tennessee specialty license plate. When the giant print of the specialty plate was unveiled I just stared blankly at it for a while. There on the plate was one of my photos of a 335 guitar. Never would I have ever imagined that one of my photos would grace a Tennessee license plate!

These plates are still available with $35.00 of the 61.50 fees going toward the ongoing support of the Rock ‘N’ Soul. So if you’re a music lover and its time to renew your tags consider getting a Memphis Rock ‘N’ Soul Museum. That way were helping pass along the story of musical pioneers of rock and soul music. Check the museum out next time you are in Memphis, Tennessee. Here is the link https://www.memphisrocknsoul.org
